- Changing the name of an existing certificate or degree program.
- Changing the degree designation or award level of an existing program, such as changing a B.A. to a B.S. or an Ed.D. to a Ph.D.
- Changing the Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) code assigned to an existing certificate or degree program.
- Changing the number of credit hours required for an existing certificate or degree program.
- Adding or eliminating distance education as a delivery option for an existing certificate or degree program.
- Adding an approved location at which an existing certificate or degree program will be offered.
- Splitting an existing certificate or degree program into two or more separately recognized programs.
- Merging two or more existing certificate or degree programs into a single program.
- Consolidating existing programs to create a new certificate or degree program.
- Eliminating an existing certificate or degree program.
- Suspending an existing certificate or degree program.
